Being an empath is the worse, sure it can feel good if the feelings are positive but more often than not, they are negative. I feel everything, so much so, that if someone cries on tv or in a film I will also cry. This is hard work. I want to be there for people I love and I always will be but it will be a rollercoaster of emotions for me as well. This is exactly why I limit what negativity I allow into my life, such as things I cannot control that will only make me feel sad or angry, e.g. world issues. It’s hard to not feel it all, it’s not that I don’t care, I would care too much. Can anyone else relate?
